Join our friends at Mudcity Clay for a fun, interactive session of working with clay. Choose from 2 sessions targeting different ages to create a memorable piece of art that your child will treasure.
SESSION 1:
Nature Inspired Ornament
Ages 7+
Friday 9/27 4:00-6:00pm
Join Mudcity Clay for an ornament making session. Students will get to use natural elements (provided or bring your own!) to create relief images in clay. They will then use a selection of shapes to cut ornament sized pieces. Each student will make at least one final ornament that will be glaze fired!
SESSION 2:
Name Plate Clay Play!
Ages 4-6
Friday 9/28 11:30am-1:30pm
Join Mudcity Clay for a fun clay play. Kids will get to stamp and play with various texture making tools to create a final glazed name plate they can proudly display!

MudCity Clay is a community Clay studio in the historic Gonic Mill. They offer full studio memberships, year round classes and programming for children and adults, internships and more. Mudcity partners with groups and organizations to bring clay into spaces that otherwise may not have access to this incredible healing and community building arts medium. Their mission is to bring ceramics and ceramic arts education to the broader community, making clay accessible to everyone.
